Who is it for?

e-Citizen is a certification specifically developed for people with a limited knowledge of the computer and the Internet.

This includes but not limited to:
Senior citizens;
Skilled professionals with little exposure to the Internet;
Public servants;
Migrant workers; and
Unemployed.

e-Citizen aims to help candidates get the most out of the Internet by explaining how it works and showing that it can be used for a range of purposes. These include dealing with government departments, finding information, buying products and communicating online with family and friends.

It is open to everyone regardless of status, education, age, ability or understanding, but it is helpful to have a little knowledge of the computer before enrolling on this programme.
