ICDL (International Computer Driving License) is an international certification in computer skills recognized throughout more than 150 countries and is now being tested in 40 languages.
ICDL Hong Kong & Macau Co Ltd is now launching Primary and Middle School Students Competition for ICDL Computer Skills ( herein referred to as 'the competition' ), in order to improve the IT and computer recognition of primary and middle school students, to foster their enthusiasm for learning computer skills, and to help them gain the international certification.
The competition will be held TWICE in 2008. ICDL Hong Kong & Macau is to schedule the competition regularly every year from then on, with the aim of upgrading the computer application level of Hong Kong students.
First Competition: 2008-8-31 3pm-6pm

Prize:
Allowance for the coming 12 months' tuition and/or book fee, with the maximum amount of HK$2000
How to participate
Complete the form (download from www.icdl.com.hk), fax and mail to ICDL Hong Kong & Macau, or email to competition@ittqc.com.
Students who don't possess any ICDL certificate shall take and pass the entry exam (any 1 of the 7 ICDL modules) in order to participate in the competition. Students with any one of the ICDL certificates is allowed to participate in the competition.
ICDL Hong Kong & Macau will assign participants to different ICDL Approved Test Centres for this competition.
The winners are the 10 participants with the highest marks in every age group for every competition. The minimum number of participants is 100. If the number is less than 100, the competition will be postponed to the next round.
Results will be published 5 days after the competition in the main newspapers.
Prizes can be claimed after the results are published. Winners shall take all their tuition fee receipts and/or book fee receipts to apply for the allowance.
