Who can become a ATC?

An ATC should meet the following list of minimum requirements at all times.

i. The ATC must possess at least one (1) examination ICDL testing room/lab.

ii. In terms of general envrionment and safety, in every ICDL testing room/lab:
(a) the emergency exit (where applicable) must be clearly visible,
(b) fire-safety systems and fire-extinguishers must be fully operational,
(c) electrical installations must be secure,
(d) the lighting in the room/lab must be adequate,
(e) the room/lab must be clean and well aired, and
(f) the room temperature must be normal, depending on the temperatures of the particular season.

iii. Adequate and secure archiving space must be allocated for the ICDL programme.
iv. In terms of staff, the ATC must have at least one (1) Test Centre Manager, one (1) Test Centre Invigilator and one (1) Technical Support Staff, all trained on the ICDL programme by the Licensee.

v. In terms of general IT systems, the ATC must possess:
(a) a Local Area Network (LAN) with an industry standard topology, and
(b) an internet connection, access to email and the web.
